Jim Cuddy and Suzie Vinnick Auction Items

Just letting everyone know that the Suzie Vinnick tickets that were on auction were won for a mere $40! A great deal for that savvy bidder. The 2 Jim Cuddy tickets that were paired with a meet and greet with Jim, preferred seating and a signed poster went for $400. We are working with our website designer to find a way to have completed auctions left up on the page so people can see the winning bids. Until we can accomplish that please keep an eye on the blog for such news.

Remember that the other 2 sets of Jim Cuddy tickets that are in support of the Arts Council Haliburton Highlands are still on the auction block .. just one more day .. last chance to get tickets!! These don’t come with the extra perks of the first pair but, the show will look great from wherever you sit!

There are still tickets left for all the other performances at The Forest Festival which starts on Wednesday. Please buy them at www.MadeInHaliburton.ca .

Bid on Tickets for Jim Cuddy Trio at The Forest Festival

If you love Jim Cuddy and want a chance for a meet and greet with Jim plus 2 tickets to the sold out show at The Forest Festival on August 16th at 8pm.  then you better read on …

Thanks to the kindness of a local resident there are two tickets being auctioned off using the new www.MadeInHaliburton.ca auction feature. In addition to the tickets the “winner” of the auction item will get to meet Jim Cuddy, have preferred seating for an event that does not have designated seating, and receive a Haliburton Forest poster that is signed by Jim Cuddy. The concert takes place at the Bone Lake Amphitheatre which is a truly magical setting for an outdoor concert. There is a floating stage on a lake in the middle of a forest. The stars twinkle above and the air is crisp and clear. The music resonates with the natural environment in a way that is simply not able to be described — it must be experienced.

Better yet, the proceeds from this auction will go to the Volunteer Dental Outreach Program. This program offers dental services to people in the Haliburton Highlands who would otherwise be unable to afford such care.

Please consider bidding on this auction item and helping out the Volunteer Dental Outreach Program.

Buy Tickets for the Forest Festival at www.MadeInHaliburton.ca

Tickets for the Forest Festival can now be purchased at www.MadeInHaliburton.ca . If you have never taken in the Forest Festival it is a very magical event that is well worth taking the time to attend. Imagine experiencing the music of excellent, well-known performers in the middle of the forest with the backdrop of a lake. During the evening performances, at the amphitheatre location, you can watch the sun set during the concert. It is amazing to watch the twilight settle on the forest and lake while taking in the music. As the evening progresses the star-filled sky surrounds you as you relax and listen. The location of the amphitheatre in the middle of the forest means that there is absolutely no light pollution and thus, the stars are more visible than in other locations. On a clear night you can see the whole of the Milky Way.

This year’s performances include John McDermott, The Jim Cuddy Trio, Amanda Martinez, Russell deCarle and the Bebop Cowboys, Hilario Duran and Jane Bunnett, Suzie Vinnick and Excerpts from the Highlands Opera Studio. There is something for everyone in this vast array of expert musicians.
