Gary Chapman

About the Artist:

Gary Chapman is a Haliburton artist whose sole motivation for creating art comes from his love of nature. Always inspired by the changing seasons, Gary's landscape paintings show our natural world in it's many moods. From a morning sunrise to a moonlit evening, his paintings reflect the beauty of our surroundings and transport us visually to the scenes we dream about.

Now, thirty years into his artistic career, he remains keenly interested in our natural world and delights in spending time on location with brush in hand.

As well as being a founding member of the Haliburton County Studio Tour, Gary devotes time each summer to instructing watercolour courses at the Sir Sandford Fleming College Haliburton School of the Arts.

Gary resides at his Mountain Lake home in the Highlands of Haliburton
