About the Artist:

As a Metis Artist, I have always felt a strong ancestral connection to our Earth.  My artwork speaks of our interaction with the Earth and with each other.  I find inspiration in our lives, our symbols, our collections, our gatherings and our place within the larger picture. 

About Her Art:

My work focuses on flexibility, texture and tactility with an impressionistic and loose approach to my art.  Whether I am working in paint or metals, plein-air or in the studio, my work is intuitive and organic.  I thrive on spontaneity, always follow my instincts and I am never afraid to see what will happen next.
